The blue dial pins around the dial of the mechanical timer MMZ 20 or MMZ 44 are engaged in the delivery state. This means that the time switch is permanently active in this mode.
To adjust the time setting, it is therefore necessary to pull up the dial pins. At the times when the pins are pulled up, no current flows.
Also make sure that the dial is set to the time at which the timer is to start.
