NOTE: The product must be installed and maintained by a qualified electrician.
Instructions for connecting the cable (instructions for the next steps can be found with the product and here in the appendix):
1. this is your cable coming out of the wall.
2. remove 20 mm of insulation from the cable.
IMPORTANT: Do not remove too much, otherwise the seal will no longer be able to grip.
3. remove 12 - 14 mm of the insulation from the strands.
4. loosen the cable gland and feed the cable through.
5. you can now insert the 3 strands at the same time. Insert the strands as far as they will go. The mechanism should now grip and fix the strands. Ensure that the correct strands are inserted into the correct slots (earthing: yellow/green cable in ⏚, phase: black cable in L, neutral conductor: blue cable in N).
6. you can now tighten the two screw connections.
7. tighten both screws properly. However, make sure that you do not turn the cable itself.
IMPORTANT: Really tighten the screws, as this is the only way to ensure leak-tightness.
8. make sure that the cable has enough slack to form a gooseneck. This is important to ensure that water runs off the cable and does not flow into the seal.
Note: These instructions are supplementary to the installation instructions already enclosed with the product. These can also be found here in the appendix.
