Solution 1:
Router with WLAN 2.4 and 5 GHz
To operate the gateway, it is mandatory that the gateway and the mobile device are in the 2.4 GHz network. We recommend switching off the 5 GHz network, because the mobile device cannot connect to the gateway if it is in the 5 GHz network.
Solution 2:
Router with time restriction for WLAN
Many routers have a time control for WLAN. I.e. it can be determined when the WLAN network is active or inactive. If this setting is activated it can lead to internet dropouts to the gateway.
Solution 3:
Adjust WLAN encryption
Depending on the router manufacturer, WLAN interruptions may occur if the WPA encryption WPA2 (CCMP) is selected. In this case the WLAN encryption should be changed to WPA+WPA2 or WPA2.
