There can be several reasons for this:
- If you turn on the spotlight manually
- If you have programmed timers
- If you have programmed SMART automations that turn the spotlight on or off
- If you change the projector's settings (for example, brightness or color temperature)
If you want the light to remain on sensor mode, you can create the following automation under the "SMART" section:
If: PIR Status - Manual
Next: PIR Status - PIR
Then PIR switch - ON
If the light is generally supposed to operate in sensor mode, but you want to turn it on and off manually from time to time, the following is the best approach:
If: Spotlight On/Off - OFF
Next: PIR Status - PIR
Then PIR switch - ON
So, if the light is in sensor mode and you turn it on manually via the app, it will initially be in manual mode. When you turn the light off again, it will automatically return to sensor mode.
If you want the floodlight to switch to sensor mode without you having to turn it off manually, you can set a delay after which the floodlight will automatically switch back to sensor mode:
If: PIR Status - Manual
Then: Delay the action by x minutes
Next: PIR Status - PIR
Then PIR switch - ON
