The designation of professional association regulations, rules, principles and information have changed in the past due to the reorientation and renaming of the professional associations.
In this context, the former BGI 608 (Selection and operation of electrical systems and equipment on construction and assembly sites) has also been renamed several times.
BGI 608 → BGI/GUV-I 608 → DGUV Information 203-006.
In public, the old designation BGI 608 has become very widespread and is mostly known to the relevant public. On official BG websites, different designations are used in parallel.
We have therefore decided to label our products with BGI 608 where applicable.
