- Remove the WiFi smoke and heat detector from the mounting plate by rotating it
counter-clockwise. - Remove the old batteries from the detector.
- Wait for 10 minutes.
- Press the test button for complete draining.
- Insert the new batteries.
- Position the WiFi smoke and heat detector on the mounting plate and rotate it
clockwise until it firmly engages. - Now the new battery status should be displayed.
If this does not work, proceed as follows:
- Delete and remove the detector from the app including all data.
- Remove the WiFi smoke and heat detector from the mounting plate by rotating it
counter-clockwise. - Remove the batteries from the detector.
- Wait for 10 minutes.
- Press the test button for a complete drain.
- Insert the batteries.
- Perform the teach-in process and add the detector back to the app.
- Position the WiFi smoke and heat detector on the mounting plate and rotate it
clockwise until it firmly engages. - Now the new battery status should be displayed.
