What can I do if the brennenstuhl®Connect WiFi Smoke and Heat Alarm WRHM01 shows the old status after changing the battery?

1. Remove the WiFi smoke and heat detector from the mounting plate by rotating it
   counter-clockwise.
2. Remove the old batteries from the detector.
3. Wait for 10 minutes.
4. Press the test button for complete draining.
5. Insert the new batteries.
6. Position the WiFi smoke and heat detector on the mounting plate and rotate it
   clockwise until it firmly engages.
7. Now the new battery status should be displayed.

If this does not work, proceed as follows:

1. Delete and remove the detector from the app including all data.
2. Remove the WiFi smoke and heat detector from the mounting plate by rotating it
   counter-clockwise.
3. Remove the batteries from the detector.
4. Wait for 10 minutes.
5. Press the test button for a complete drain.
6. Insert the batteries.
7. Perform the teach-in process and add the detector back to the app.
8. Position the WiFi smoke and heat detector on the mounting plate and rotate it
   clockwise until it firmly engages.
9. Now the new battery status should be displayed.
